Persephone, the Goldendoodle

Maggie and Elvis let Percy play with them twice today already. Elvis stole Percy’s bone, here.

Percy let him get away with it (okay, he was pretty insistent, even though she has 55 pounds on him). They’d been running around for awhile, so Percy pretended to be resting, even though she was waiting for Elvis to grow tired of the bone so she could have it back (which took about 5 minutes).

Maggie, in the meantime, was just Maggie: Princess Sunbather.

I am in the midst of a three-day scholarly writing workshop. About two hours before it was to end today, I thought, “My poor pooch! She hasn’t been to the beach in a days.” So, I acquiesced to my inner Mom-Dog, left early, and took her to play.

While I wasn’t being scholarly this afternoon, Percy was. Here she is practicing didgeridoo!
