Labor Day Dog Park
Percy doesn’t love dog parks, but I wanted her to run around for awhile.

She did, though she also stuck by my left side a lot (because she is such a good dog).

When I come up the stairs to my front door, I often hear Percy scrambling away. She has developed a sweet habit of waiting for me on my bed because she knows she can get a belly rub. Apparently this afternoon that would have been too much activity. Instead, I walked in to find her on her chair (yes, she has a chair). She pushed herself up and somehow found a way to present belly to me for a rub.

Ben is visiting and wanted to take Percy to the beach. Here they are:

Percy loves Ben. He makes her happy:

Percy got smothered by a wave. The first one shows it just after it has crashed over her head; in the second one she is completely under.

We *had* to go to the beach this morning. So, after drying off, I needed a good back scratch.

See how cool I am?

I love summer.

Percy and bone. Upside down!

(she’s had this bone for a couple of weeks and hasn’t chomped it down yet.)
